This public space was included in William Penn’s original plan for Philadelphia, devised in 1682. While Logan Square Park is rather simple in stature, both tourists and residents flock to this space. In the center of the park is the ornate Swann Memorial Fountain, a large centerpiece that represents the region’s major waterways. The famous Ben Franklin Parkway circles around the square, bringing in constant buzz and activity.
